So we made it into the new year!
Vows were exchanged, families came together. It was seriously one of the best weeks of my entire life. Not only did I marry my best friend on December 18th, I enjoyed the company of almost my whole family under one roof. It was beautiful!
We were so grateful to see all of our best friends smiling faces and did not forget about those who couldn't be there. Thankyou to all who made it so memorable.
So far this is one of the only pictures we have of the wedding. I spoke with our photographer (Lori Sparkman) who left to do a wedding shoot in California soon after our wedding. With the holidays and her busy schedule it'll be another week or two before we can all view her work. I absolutely can't wait!
We are finally getting settled into our new home (424 Emerald St. Lowell, Ar). These last 3 weeks have just flown by and Ben and I are (to some people's surprise) still acting like the newly weds we are. :) I've been on a not so intense job hunt since I got here with a few doors opening, but praying for guidance and direction at this time before I settle into just anything.
Austyn Grace Update:
I'm officially 23 weeks along now. My belly has definitely done some growing with a total of 13 pounds gained. Eek! But honestly I feel great. People tell me constantly they can't believe I'm 5 months along.... I take it as a compliment. (kay that's enough tooting of my own horn) lol! We have our next appointment/checkup on my birthday next Thursday. This will be Ben's first appointment to attend. We're both very excited about this. His first time to hear the heartbeat, and first time to have to hold my hand while they possibly draw more blood... ick! We also are in the process of setting up consultations with local midwives. The thought of having an at home birth seems so much more desirable then succumbing to the pressures of doctors, their medicine, and their time frames. However, when it comes closer to that time we'll have different options. Which ultimately sounds good to us!
I believe that's all for now. I'll get more pix, wedding & belly, posted soon! We love y'all and hope everyone is staying warm in this crazy weather we've been having. (Today was the 5th day in a row of snow for us... definitely not use to that) I built my very first snow man this week. Haha. Lots of firsts already this year! 2010, here we go!! :)
